^ caretbag

Your bag, in the status line.

Your Robinhood Chain stock tokens and Pons coins, live at the bottom of Claude Code while you work. Read-only. Your address stays on your machine.

$ npx caretbag init

Try it without installing

Render your own line.

Paste a Robinhood Chain address. Your browser reads the balances straight from the public RPC and draws the same line the CLI would.

Nothing about the address is sent to us. Prices come from /universe.json; balances come from robinhood-rpc.publicnode.com.

What the line says

One row. Five things.

  1. 1 · totalEverything this wallet holds on Robinhood Chain, in dollars.
  2. 2 · 24hWhat the bag you hold now did over the last 24 hours.
  3. 3 · positionsYour biggest holdings by value. Up to 3, or up to 12 on the open and holder tiers.
  4. 4 · movesA ! marks a position that moved 10% or more in 24h (open and holder tiers).
  5. 5 · marketWhether NYSE is open, in pre-market, after-hours or closed. The tokens trade 24/7; the exchange does not.

Illustration: example amounts at live prices; the 24h move on the second position is made up to show the ! marker.

How it works

Two requests. No keys.

The status line itself never touches the network: it prints from a small cache in ~/.caretbag. A background refresh, about once a minute, makes exactly two kinds of request.

Prices from us

GET /universe.json lists every official Robinhood stock token with a live USDG pool and the Pons coins worth checking, with prices. The request carries nothing about you.

Balances from the chain

balanceOf calls for your address go straight to the public Robinhood Chain RPC, batched through Multicall3. We never see them.

Your existing line stays

If you already have a status line, Caretbag runs it first and adds its row below. caretbag uninstall puts your settings back exactly.

Commands

Small on purpose.

Node 18 or newer. Tested on macOS and Linux. Full reference in the docs.

CommandWhat it does
npx caretbag initAdds your wallet, sets up the status line and the /bag slash command.
caretbag bagFull table: amount, price, value and 24h for every position.
caretbag add <CA>Track a token that isn't in the universe.
caretbag wallet add <0x…>More wallets (open and holder tiers).
caretbag doctorChecks settings, cache, the universe and the RPC.
caretbag uninstallRestores your original status line.

The token

Convenience, not a lock.

Until the token exists, every feature is open. After launch, holders keep multiple wallets, up to 12 positions and big-move markers; everyone else gets one wallet and the top 3.

The check runs in the open-source CLI on your machine, so anyone can patch it. Holding supports the server; it doesn't buy anything else. No promise of returns.
